But it wasn’t actually generic ‘resistance’ or ‘uplevelling’ that I experienced that day…

It was a specific storm of sentiment unexpressed that caused the strife and sabotage.

You see, I’m not what you see, what I show…

She’s my Shero, my Muse, my Legacy, my Fairytale, my Mentor.

And it’s not that I’m not all that…it’s that I’m not solely that...

While I CAN BE soft, serene, sensuous and stylish, I can also be fierce, no frills,

with Olympic level force of Desire and Determination about what I stand for.

I don’t like showing that side of me…

…she feels a little heavy, unpoetic, masculine…and could turn you off…

I prefer to lead with love, I prefer to share my courage not my fear.

But I’ll admit I am frightened of dis-ease, poverty, war, social injustice, depression, miscommunication, ignorance, flying and…bad lighting.

And I am both haunted & indignant that:

*untold women, men and children WILL suffer beause they don’t know better

*teens WILL come home from school to a parent who had a fatal heartattack

*mothers WILL kiss their kids goodbye for the day not knowing it will be forever

So I channel my desire to for HEALING of myself and others into something beautiful…

unsexy valentine

This Valentine’s Day didn’t quite happen for me…

Instead of sexy langerie and chocolate covered rose petals,

I experienced struggle, frustration, dissapointment.

It started the night before while posting a love note about my 15 year marriage.

Once posted, tons of people ‘liked’ it, leaving hearts, saying it brought tears…

I didn’t expect that- it was just a raw and real, un-poetic stream of consciousness…

…about our relationship…and WOW, there is just SO much contrast…

It definitely hasn’t been smooth sailing or an easy path between us.

And I’ve had moments of serious doubt and dissatisfaction…I’m certain he has too.

Yet, we are still together, and the love still GROWS. Amazing…

I was curious about what was so resonant for people about what I wrote…

Surprised as it wasn’t sexy or seductive or poetic or passionate… just facts.

My husband  rarely goes on facebook, so I sent it to his email and logged off.

The next morning I was awakened with GORGEOUS white roses & a teary-eyed man.

He LOVED my valentine note; said it got him choked up…wow, I hadn’t expected that!

We made plans for later; on his way out he wished me well on my Love Letter Noon call.

Over 1,100 people registered for the call and I was excited!

But suddenly things seemed to go sideways...

The call time was mistakenly scheduled for the wrong time and the conference expired.

So a new one had to be set up and another email with the change of call-in details sent.

Then, my mac mail and customerservice was down- completely inaccessible. Yikes!

Instead of having a beautiful, relaxed morning preparing for my big call as planned,

I was on the phone with tech support and trying to reach my VA and webmaster etc

to see if my business mail accounts were completely gone or just temporarily hiding…

It was a mess that nobody seemed able to fix…

Then it was time for our Love Letter call so I had to re-focus on what I wanted to share.

Techno-drama STEP ASIDE.

Honestly, I’m so relieved to say I don’t think it could have flowed better :)))

The love in the message plus the presence I could feel from Karen and everyone

was the wind in my sails; there was so much love and beauty shared; we all felt it!

But then… the web page for the NEW PROGRAM I had announced on the call was down,

even though it was fine just before the call started…??

So after the gorgeous call, MORE time on calls and emails with tech support,

hundreds of dollar$ later, and a missed Valentine’s dinner,

way past midnight, things were sorted- tech gremlins were gone, finally!

What a strange day, I thought…

(I’ve since made a startling discovery about myself and self sabotage–

I’ll share in the next post- you HAVE to hear this!)

I headed upstairs to mr man… who fell ASLEEP waiting for me 🙁

This is SO not how I wanted to experience my Valentine’s Day…

I hope yours was so much better, Petals!

Have you planned for what you want to experience in 2013?

It’s never too late…

I sensually felt into this within my body and heart and became CRYSTAL clear.

Alot of times women either don’t really know- it’s fuzzy and doesn’t feel real…

or we have half -hearted wishes:

– get healthy/in shape

– take better care of myself

– eat better, exercise more

– more money

– have more fun

– attract a/my man etc etc

There’s nothing inherently wrong with any of these goals- it’s just that they could be ANYBODY’s…

Therefore they feel flat and uninspiring and not juicy- not WORTHY OF YOU.

To be powerful a Creatrix requires being able to connect emotionally with your desires…

Then they are MAGENTIC.

Set the tone for your day first thing in the morning to allow the rest of the day to flow!

Start with proper hydration to get JUICY and youthful and filled with liquid love.

Did you know:

* Our body is 3/4 water- even our bones are 25% water.

* Liquids are important lubricators and are also responsible for transporting nutrients to your cells and transporting waste away from your cells.

* Adrenal glands compensate for lack of fluids by speeding up body activity to help flush toxins = added stress on our body we can do without.

* Properly hydrating first thing in the morning will make it less likely that you will crave concentrated foods like sugar and salt later on.

Our ability to experience and interpret thirst 

sensation actually decreases with age, so we can become

HOW MUCH WATER DO YOU NEED EVERY DAY?

Drink about ½ of your body’s weight in ounces per day.

A simple way of doing this is to fill up a large pitcher in the morning, keep it where you can see it and ensure it’s finished by the day’s end.

 

Chronic and persistently increasing dehydration is the 

root cause of  almost all currently encountered major 

diseases of  the human body.

It’s a New Year and tomorrow is my BIRTHDAY- 48 and ready to create!

I feel FRESH, CLEAR, BEAUTIFUL and WHOLE.

Buuuut I want to tell you I wasn’t feeling that way over part of the Holidays…were they intense for you, too?

I was doing too much, eating too much, entertaining and partying too much and giving myself alot of  EXCUSES ;(

Whenever I feel on the verge of change I go and spend 2 hours alone in Nature with my journal and allow everything to flow from me.

When I am done I read what I wrote and speak of how I want to now be seen.

Do YOU want to start over?

You can in every single breath.

Inhale.

Exhale.

It’s all new!

We deserve to look and feel exquisite.

ingredients. and melt away all fear and doubt. spread your wings wide

and follow your butterflies. drink soup infused in love and breathtaking

ingredients

2 fresh thai coconuts—water and flesh

1 c hot water with 1 T organic vegetable bouillion mixed in

2 c shredded savoy cabbage, bean sprouts or raw zucchini noodles

1 T olive oil

1 lime squeezed

½ clove garlic

½ t fresh minced ginger

½ t fresh lemongrass minced

1 small piece of jalapeno or habenero pepper minced

1 can bamboo shoots

1 can water chestnuts

1 t nama shoyu, braggs or ¼ t celtic sea salt

2 fresh cilantro leaves julienne

1 small handful of pumpkin seeds (optional)

preparation

1. pour coconut milk and water into a large serving bowl

2. add the lime juice, minced garlic and lemongrass, pepper and

seasoning salt of your choice

3. clean all veggies and stir into soup base

4. garnish with cilantro (and pumpkin seeds)
