It’s been a couple months already and I’m not back yet, but I’ve received so many emails and inquiries about how I am doing and so I wanted to share an UPDATE.

This weekend I celebrated my 50th Birthday!!!
I allowed myself to receive so fully!
Not just the petals on my pillow as I woke (nice touch Babe!) or the gifts and cards and flowers or calls from my friends around the world…
What really touched me deeply is how much LOVE I was able to let in…
The look in my boys’ eyes as they read the homemade cards they made for me…(!!!)
The LOUD joyful birthday song at the restaurant with so much laughter and hugs and high-fives…
As you know I’ve been through a really rough patch the last few months and I wasn’t sure I was up to much of a celebration- even begging my husband NOT to throw me a huge surprise party- but it was just so perfect…
Because I felt so ALIVE and EXPANSIVE and gorgeously OPEN to LIFE…
My life is a Fairytale!

EXQUISITE SELF CARE UPDATE
As I mentioned above I’m not there yet but I have made some beautiful progress!
I have been doing several key things since I got sick that have been VITAL for my healing:
1. more REST/SLEEP- no computers or other media- just quiet, getting horizontal even in the middle of the day, eyes closed, stillness.
THIS IS NATURE’S COMMAND when we are ill.
AND more SLEEP- my biggest challenge ever! I’ve never slept more than 4 hours a night and often it’s even less than that skipping falling asleep altogether…I’ve COMPENSATED for this with my HIGH-RAW/WHOLEFOODS DIET… but I feel my body really requires more sleep and I am going to be summoning the assistance of a genius ANTHROPOSOPHICAL medical doctor to investigate with me and diagnose if I have a HORMONE IMBALANCE or what is causing this chronic and acute INSOMNIA. Will share more when I can on this as I know MANY of YOU also struggle with sleep deprivation/disorders/insomnia and it is causing havoc with our health despite an excellent diet!
2. more PROTEIN- raw/vegan/cooked/vegetarian/animal- I have been experimenting with it ALL.
I am noticing my body is changing- NOTE TO SELF- Women’s bodies have NATURAL CYCLES over a lifetime and therefore their NUTRITIONAL needs etc SHIFT and we may REQUIRE to allow for dietary changes and instead of being too dogmatic, HONOUR THE NEEDS OF OUR FEMININE BODIES. My good friend and colleague author PETE CERQUA reached out to me and put me in touch with an expert NUTRITIONIST –Victoria Toujilina– on his team who had me try a PROTEIN SUPPLEMENT (I was so not open at first but am so glad I tried it!) on a REGENERATIVE PROTOCAL that she put me on that has been SUPER HELPFUL/CONVENIENT when I was too weak to do all my regular high-raw diet-

ULTRASOUND REPORT TODAY
Today I went for a third ULTRASOUND in 4.5 months to see if what I have been doing is working or not to shrink my large OVARIAN CYST:
Ultrasound in Sept 2014- 8.8 cm
Ultrasound in Nove 2014- 9.2 cm
Ultrasound today Jan 22 2015- 8cm
It IS SHRINKING~ HOORAY!
I still have a ways to go but I am on track gently moving in the right direction, HEALING NATURALLY WITHOUT SURGERY :-))
