a golden KEY to my succe$$

hello sunshine!

i was recently asked about what i thought was the KEY to my newfound success as an artist…

as you may know i made the commitment to become a professional artist last year

but it was right when covid hit!

a scary time in general and especially to venture on a new life path…

 

even my husband who is usually very supportive said

‘please don’t go into art. nobody buys art.’

 

i actually believed that too!

 

PLUS i knew NOTHING about the art world…

but within months my paintings were selling …

soon for thousand$

and within a year i had received 2 licensing deals 

plus 

i recently found out that i am going to be featured on the cover of a magazine~

imagine, a CoverGirl at 56?!

so FUN.

 

so how does this even happen?

because it actually doesn’t just happen…

 

success leaves clues

i share what has been a golden key for me as a new artist

was the inspiration for this contest… and magically i won!
 
the painting sold shortly afterwards…
it was luke’s favorite painting of mine so he was a little sad but still proud.

love letters between heaven and earth

dear empress sisters….

i know it’s been a minute!

how is everything unfolding for you?

i’m thinking of you …

 

my boys moved back home as covid struck early march

and they have just moved back out into their lives again now.

it was such a blessing to be all together –

they kept luke and i laughing (and working out) constantly

which has been a balm to my Spirit and body!

 

in such uncertain times as these, what do you focus upon?

life seems to sculpt away the excesses of our lives

and what is revealed is the purity of what we value most!

 

i am not online as much as i once as you may have noticed…

i’ve been painting alot and i am in art school full-time.

below are some paintings i created in quarantine
