It’s been a week since my beloved came home from major surgery and he is already back at work feeling nearly good as new!
I am grateful my husband came through the 5 hr neourosurgery with flying colors!
I am grateful for Luke’s mom and all her love and support.
I am grateful for Dr Carolyn Dean and Arthur Haines for their extraordinary care and guidance.
I am grateful for the hundreds of well-wishes and prayers my husband has received that made all the difference~ THANK YOU ALL!
I am grateful for the entire team at the hospital- his world-class surgeon all the doctors and nurses who took EXQUISITE care of Luke with so much kindness.
I conjured that he would be home for the weekend and he was!
I have set up a healing room with fresh lilacs, lavender and clean linens.
I am juicing and blending and making homemade soups and raw puddings that are wholesome and nourishing for his body and Spirit.
My home is a sanctuary filled with love and laughter because our boys have so much faith, fun and happiness it is contagious!
I am grateful our 2 boys managed to get themselves to school everyday and do homework and go to their track meets and make their own lunches and dinners the entire week we were away- no problemo- and they even cleaned the house for when we returned.
I am grateful for friends and neighbours who spoiled them with homemade loafs and baskets of goodies! I am grateful for the visits, cards and flowers and dinners I received while staying at the hospital/hotel, which made me feel so supported and positive and not too lonely without Luke and our boys!
I am grateful he looked so handsome immediately following the surgery.
I am grateful it is beautiful weather for him to relax in our yard by the waterfall pond (he built) and listen to the birds in the sunshine.
I am grateful he waited until he was ready despite everyone panicking and rushing him (with good intentions of course!) his timing is perfect and Divine!
I desire a continued speedy and smooth recovery for my beloved.
I desire to send love and appreciation to everyone who cared for Luke and I, AND for those who care for others.
Life is beautiful!
