Hello Petal,

I don’t usually want to go on camera in front of thousands of people fresh out of bed…

but today I did just that…

AND IT FEELS GOOD.

To not be perfect, to not hide anything, to feel real and raw and naked and FREE.

Many of us feel SHAME about the parts of ourselves that aren’t our shiniest

and we make those parts BAD, WRONG or at least HIDDEN.

BUT THIS ISN’T HOW A FLOWER GROWS. (nor how YOU grow my little flower 😉

A beautiful flower starts from a little seed that has to begin its journey in the DIRT-

the dirt is composed of dark, decaying matter that nourishes the seed into new life.

TO GROW UP AND OUT WE MUST GO DOWN INTO THE DEEP DARKNESS.

Our Shadow sides that we keep in the dark afraid to reveal is very powerful.

BUT WORKS AGAINST US WHEN WE DON’T KNOW HOW TO EMBRACE THEM.
