Quick Story:

My son was chosen to go to New Brunswick to represent Ontario in a 3K steeple and 5K race.

Unfortunately, he had a high fever when he left & forehead stitches from a sea-doo accident…

Then while he was away my other son showed me a video of him FALLING during one of his races 🙁

When he arrived home today I asked him how he manged to compete sick, tired from travel, injured etc

He put his arms around me and said:

‘Mom. None of that matters when you’re committed. I was prepared. It was a BLAST.’

He usually takes excellent care of himself and so challenges and un-ideal conditions didn’t overwhelm him.
