There was a woman in the mountains who lived in peace amoung the beauty of the land,
until one day a man with ill intent happened upon her and demanded she give him her food.
She smiled and said ‘I have only this hunk of bread, you can have it.’
As she reached inside her bag to give the beggar the bread, he noticed a HUGE emerald inside.
He said ‘Give me that jewel too!’ and she smiled and handed him her bag.
He grabbed it and headed down the mountain to town, thrilled at his score!
He would be a wealthy man for the rest of his life with this large emerald!
As he glanced back he saw the woman was still sitting there as if nothing had happened…
She was petting a passing goat, content as could be.
Weeks passed and the woman hadn’t thought of the robber.
Then suddenly she looked up and there he was again, holding out the large emerald in his hand.
He said, ‘I don’t want it- I want what you have that doesn’t need it’.
I may have forgotten some of the details of that parable but the meaning has stayed with me…
Life isn’t about accumulating things…
Ultimately, life is about what we can let go of.
Such an elevated perspective makes everything we Give and Receive so much sweeter.
And the most magical thing is the more I can let go of, the more I seem to Receive!
So often my clients tell me about their desires of what they want to call in to their lives..
more money, love, fun, better health, a beautiful body, happiness and purpose etc etc
And these are ALL worthy desires!
But the first step in receiving, is often letting go...
So we work on releasing what has been in the way of those desires, so they can be received, with ease and grace!
Life doesn’t have to be a struggle and you’re not meant to work SO hard to have what you want.
But if there are layers of RESISTANCE, your Receiving will be blocked.
And what happens when you release this resistance?
Life is on its tippy toes to provide for you!
I’ve seen it work in my life and my client’s and now its YOUR turn!
It’s not your job to seek for love, money, happiness or any Abundance~
it’s your job to remove the blocks to Receiving it!
