LOVELY

FROM ME

morning fire water

As you know from my previous post, I have had a breakthrough!

In the spirit of keeping that shift open and alive, I woke up, hit the remote, turned on the light and spontaneously created this next video for you.

This is so FUN to experiment freely and just go where my inspiration leads…I feel like Alice in Wonderland!

And it doesn’t hurt that my husband woke me up with a kiss at 5am to wish me a Happy Anniversary…’Our Anniversary isn’t until August’ I said. ‘But today is the day I proposed to you…’ Ahhhhhhh he’s a Dream!

This actually happened yesterday, but I had to mention it here because below I am going to talk about an old boyfriend and I have to protect and cherish my husband’s honour 🙂

Ok, here is one of my morning rituals.

I actually learned this from someone I dated when I was 20; he was a 3rd degree balckbelt back then (now he’s a 7th Dan- yes, we are still friends after all this time) and he used to do this.

We were both vegetarian and into ‘health foods’, in fact it was he who got me into Martial Arts, and we would FAST together every weekend; from Friday night until Monday morning we would only drink juices.

It was great! We would go to the beach or a film festival or work out, and we would tease and torture each other fantasizing about what we were going to eat when we broke our fast LOL

In the cold winter mornings, having a thermos of steaming tea right there beside the bed seemed so decadent. Rafael used to fly around the world for Karate championships and Backgammon tournaments, and he would always bring me back special teas. My favorite was from South America called Yerba Louisa, or Lemon Verbena, which is Lemongrass. Mmmmmm, I can still smell it.

Now I use fresh Lemongrass from the market to make my teas and smoothies.

So we have Rafael to thank for this great tip!

It’s about the importance of HYDRATION first thing in the morning when you wake up, even before getting out of bed.

What’s the rush? Relax Dove, sip on your Fire Water or aromatic Herbal Tea you made at bedtime still hot or cool from the insulation of the thermos, and dream into your beautiful day about to unfold…
